Description

Plunger for power-driven sprayer}Plunger for power-driven sprayer

The present invention relates to a plunger for a power sprayer,

More specifically, the power sprayer plunger of the present invention relates to a power sprayer plunger which achieves production cost and productivity by forming a connection part, a friction part and a rear part by a friction welding method so as to maintain airtightness at high pressure.

Plungers for power sprayers are widely used for spraying pesticides and are formed of stainless steel for corrosion resistance, and conventionally manufactured by casting or arc or argon welding.

The casting method is to solidify the molten metal into a mold to produce a metal product of the desired shape. A brief look at the casting process, first, to make a mold. In the case of a metal mold, a metal block having no heat is prevented even by flowing metal molten metal, and a recessed part is made by digging a chunk of heat resistant metal. Because molds use a single mold hundreds of times, the cast is divided into several parts for easy removal after solidification. In the death penalty, molds must be broken out each time, so the number of molds must be made. The model is made by dividing the model of the product made of wood into several pieces into a frame and slicing it with sand around to make it solid and then removing the model. However, a combination of cylinders or discs is called a sweeping mold, which makes sand molds by rotating the shape of the plate. Next, metals are melted in various types of melting furnaces. In the case of alloys, pre-mixed molten metal is first placed in a ladle, which is then poured into the mold. Wait for it to harden, take out the item, and if it is death, brush off the sand and finish it with the product as it is or by rubbing the casting surface.

The casting process as described above has a disadvantage in that the manufacturing cost is high because the labor cost of the manufacturing cost is high because of a lot of labor.

In addition, in the welding method, argon welding or arc welding is mainly used by placing another metal having a low melting point at the joint of a member and melting and alloying it, and argon welding is used to heat the welding rod by argon welding. Both members are joined by flowing and hardening between the joints of the members. The depths of the welds are different at the inlet and the outside of the joints of the members, and the welding rod melts, so that the plunger used at a high pressure such as a power sprayer If manufactured by the welding method, such as durability or airtightness is not maintained there is a problem that the quality of the product depends on the skill of the operator.

The present invention is to solve the above problems,

It is to provide a power sprayer plunger which improves manufacturing cost and productivity by welding the joint, friction part and rear part of power sprayer plunger by friction welding method to produce airtight and durable plunger under high pressure. .

Hereinafter, the configuration of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

In constructing a plunger for a power sprayer,

After forming the connecting rod connecting portion (1) of carbon steel forged or iron-based alloy, and forming the tail portion (3) and the packing friction portion (2) of stainless steel,

A surface 11 of the connecting rod connecting portion 1 and b surface 21 of the packing friction portion 2, d surface 31 of the rear portion 3 and c surface 22 of the packing friction portion 2 ), Respectively, by the friction welding method, after removing the welding projection (burr), and the pinhole processing to form a connector for connecting the connecting rod on one side of the connecting portion (1), the surface of the outer diameter grinding and hard chrome plating To form a plunger.

Plungers for power sprayers are generally connected to the connecting rods and used under high pressure in the cylinder (35kg / cm2 to 45kg / cm2 or more severe conditions, 75kg / cm2 or more) and should ensure airtightness and durability.

To this end, the plunger of the present invention first manufactures a connecting part 1, a pipe-shaped friction part 2, and a tail part 3 to which a connecting rod is connected, and the connection part 1 is made of iron-based small alloy material and friction part ( 2) and the tail portion (3) is formed of stainless material.

The a surface 11 of the connecting portion 1 and the b surface 21 of the friction portion 2 are first joined by friction welding, and then the b surface 21 and the tail portion 3 of the friction portion 2 are combined. Friction welding of d surface 31 is carried out.

Friction welding is a method of bonding metal and metal, metal and plastic, etc. by using heat generated by friction, also called friction welding. When a piece of metal is rotated at a high speed by a motor, such as an electric motor, and the two metals come in contact with a fixed metal of the counterpart to be welded, frictional heat is generated to raise the temperature. The rotation stops when the temperature is appropriate and the two metals are pressed to weld. In the case of aluminum, the adhesion is very easy. In addition, even metal and plastic that are difficult to bond can be easily welded by this method. Friction welding of mild steel and mild steel is said to have a tensile strength equal to or greater than that of the original mild steel.

Friction welding requires high temperature only at the place where it is to be bonded, so there is no need to heat the rest, so it requires less power and is efficient. In addition, there is an advantage that can be easily welded to materials that are difficult to conduct electricity, forms that are difficult to electric resistance welding, and a variety of types of friction welding machines are currently on the market.

Cutting the welding projection (burr) generated after the friction welding to smoothly process the surface of the combined plunger, the processed plunger forms a connector for connection with the connecting rod in the connection portion 1 through the pinhole processing process.

After that, the outer diameter of the plunger is ground again, and then the surface is smoothly processed, followed by hard chrome plating.

The purpose of chromium plating is to prevent rust and to be resistant to abrasion. Electroplating is usually performed by using a solution of chromic acid in which acidic roots such as sulfuric acid roots are added. It is used that does not invade sulfuric acid, and the reduction of chromium in the liquid is supplemented with chromic acid to continue electrodeposition. In general, the plating thickness is about 2 / 10,000 ~ 1 / 1,000mm. In the present invention, in particular, the hard chromium plating is performed in order to increase wear resistance, but the thickness varies depending on the need of wear life, but reaches 1mm of moisture at 5 / 1,000. .

The effects of the present invention as described above are as follows.

The power sprayer plunger of the present invention can maximize the airtightness of the power sprayer plunger, and can be manufactured with the same quality regardless of the skill of the operator by using a friction welding machine, and unnecessary manufacturing work (processing before welding, etc.) It is effective in maximizing the production cost by reducing the welding cycle time and reducing the welding time.
