본 고안에 의하면, 원적외선과 저주파 치료를 동시에 각각 따로 행할 수 있으므로 사용자의 편의성을 극대화하였으며, 인체에 원적외선 및 미약한 전기를 통하여 그 자극으로 근육을 직접 마사지하고, 신경을 진정시키고 혈행을 촉진시켜 결림 등에 의한 급성 및 만성 통증 등의 완화, 회복을 도와주는 효과가 있다. 또한, 저주파 치료만으로도 근육의 수축운동을 일으켜서 신체기능의 쇠약이나 비만, 질병을 치료하기도 하며 진동을 시켜 지방세포에 작용하여 비만치료용으로도 사용되고 있다.
