상술한 바와 같이 본 고안에 의하면 은, 요오드 도금처리된 블록타입의 살균필터 및 이를 적용한 살균정수 및 살균 세척수 급수전은 기존 정수기의 강제 순환방식의 여과 분리방식에 따른 정수공급과 더불어 필터에 기생하는 세균의 발생과 증식에 따른 2차 오염원의 제거 뿐만이 아니라 필터를 통과한 통과수에 미량의 은, 요오드 이온의 헤리에 의한 살균기능을 부가하여 과일, 야채 및 칼 도마 등 각종의 식기류, 의복, 손 등의 세척을 통해 표면에 존재하는 각종의 세균 및 미생물을 효과적으로 살균 제거하도록 한 매우 실용적이고 경제적인 고안이다.
