Abstract

PURPOSE: A device for supplying power of a PAM(Power Amplifier Module) is provided to change a voltage supplied to the PAM, and to apply a low voltage when low power is outputted, then to reduce a current of the PAM, thereby increasing efficiency of the PAM. CONSTITUTION: A PAM(1) amplifies a transmission signal(PAM IN), and transmits an output signal(PAM OUT) to a base station(4). A modem(3) determines output power of the transmission signal(PAM IN) to be transmitted to the base station(4). An output power control signal is transmitted to the PAM(1), and is transmitted to a variable voltage output unit(2). The variable voltage output unit(2) outputs a predetermined variable voltage in order that the PAM(1) amplifies the transmission signal(PAM IN) with the determined output power. The PAM(1) is applied with the variable voltage, amplifies power of the transmission signal(PAM IN), and transmits the output signal(PAM OUT) to the base station(4).
