Abstract

PURPOSE: A carbonex filter is provided which reduces production cost and decreases damage caused by environmental pollution by performing deodorizing decoloring and filtering functions at once, thereby substantially reducing installation and fabrication spaces. CONSTITUTION: The carbonex filter is characterized in that it is obtained by a carbonex filter manufacturing method comprising the steps of preparing a mixed powder by mixing microporous sintered resin powder with carbon powder at a mixing ratio according to applications so that deodorizing, decoloring and filtering functions are performed by one filter material; fabricating a molding frame in a shape according to applications; sintering the mixed powder at temperature of 155 deg.C for 30 min by injecting the mixed powder into the molding frame; and producing a molding material by cooling the sintered powder to an ordinary temperature, wherein the produced molding material is a molding material of microporous sintered resin containing carbon that has deodorizing and decoloring functions and filters foreign materials having a size of 0.5 micron or more, and the molding material is a carbonex filter material for forming a microporous sintered resin filter containing carbon used as air cleaner filter, cigarette filter, water purifier filter and filters for food and beverage.
