Abstract

PURPOSE: A corona shield structure for preventing shrink back of cable is provided to prevent a damage of a cable insulator by using the corona shield corresponding to an end portion of a cable insulator of the ultra high voltage cable and a fixing pin for connecting an end portion of the corona shield to the end portion of the cable insulator. CONSTITUTION: A corona shield structure includes a corona shield(1), a fixing pin(2), and a cable insulator(3). The ultra high voltage cables are connected to an intermediate connection box. The corona shield(1) corresponds to an end portion of the cable insulator(3) of the ultra high voltage cable. The corona shield(1) is used for connecting end portions of the ultra high voltage cables to each other. A projection portion is formed at the end portion of the cable insulator(3). The fixing pin(2) is used for connecting an end portion of the corona shield(1) to the end portion of the cable insulator(3).
