Abstract

PURPOSE: An air curtain system for a kitchen is provided to efficiently cut off dispersion of odor, and to easily discharge polluted air in the kitchen. CONSTITUTION: An air curtain system includes a hood installed on a cooking utensil to collect air; a suction and discharge fan installed to the hood to discharge air to the outside; and an auxiliary fan installed on a side of the cooking utensil to spray air to the hood. The auxiliary fan is interlocked with the suction and discharge fan. An air current cut-off part is placed between the auxiliary fan and the cooking utensil to cut off effect to flame of the cooking utensil. An air outlet of the auxiliary fan is formed to be perpendicular to the hood or to face a center of the hood. The air outlet of the auxiliary fan comprises a first outlet and a second outlet. An air curtain is formed as air is introduced by the auxiliary fan placed on the side of the cooking utensil and moved upward. Polluted air mixed with the air curtain is discharged through the suction and discharge fan to cut off odor generated during cooking.
