Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for transforming a keypad and inputting characters is provided to input a single vowel and a single consonant respectively at a time, so as to reduce the input frequency of the Korean alphabet in the keypad of a cell phone or an electronic device. CONSTITUTION: Keys are reconstructed to have the form of a seesaw. Each contact point is produced on both ends of a key. Accordingly, one key is doubly utilized, and a single vowel and a single consonant are inputted at a time. The frequency of key input is simplified with regard to the identical Korean alphabet, in comparison with an existing input method in which the Korean alphabet is inputted by pressing a key more than twice or through the combination of keys. And, when inputting a character arranged in the left of a key, the key is slanted in the left direction.
