Claims (5)
- 이광자 흡수용 색소가 도핑된 콜레스테릭 액정 매질과;상기 액정매질을 조사하는 펌프 레이저 및 이를 집속하는 집속 광학계를 포함하여 이루어지며, 펌프 레이저의 주파수 상향 변환 소자로서 동작하도록, 색소의 방출 스펙트럼 영역보다 긴 파장을 지닌 액정매질 조사용 펌프 레이저 시스템을 포함하여 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이광자 펌핑을 이용한 콜레스테릭 액정 레이저 발진장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,이광자 흡수를 위한 색소는, DCM(4-dicyanomethylene-2-methyl-6-p-dimethy laminostyryl-4H-pyran), 또는 Rhodamine 6G, 또는 Rhodamine B, 또는 PYC(1,3,1', 3'-tetramethyl-2,2'-dioxopyrimido-6,6'-carbocyanine hydrogen sulfate)중 선택된 어느 하나를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이광자 펌핑을 이용한 콜레스테릭 액정 레이저 발진장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,하나의 파장영역(noP 또는 neP)에서 레이저 발진이 일어나도록, 상기 콜레스테릭 액정의 반사 밴드 가장자리 중 한쪽만이 색소의 방출 스펙트럼 영역내에 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이광자 펌핑을 이용한 콜레스테릭 액정 레이저 발진장치.상기에서 ne는 이상굴절률, no는 정상굴절률, P는 콜레스테릭 액정의 피치, noP 또는 neP는 반사 밴드의 두 가장자리에 해당하는 파장이다.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,두 파장 영역(noP와 neP)에서 레이저 발진이 동시에 일어나도록, 상기 콜레스테릭 액정의 반사 밴드 가장자리 둘 모두가 색소의 방출 스펙트럼 영역 내에 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이광자 펌핑을 이용한 콜레스테릭 액정 레이저 발진 장치.상기에서 ne는 이상굴절률, no는 정상굴절률, P는 콜레스테릭 액정의 피치, noP와 neP는 반사 밴드의 두 가장자리에 해당하는 파장이다.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 펌프 레이저는 다이오드 레이저인 것을 특징으로 하는 이광자 펌핑을이용한 콜레스테릭 액정 레이저 발진장치.
