Description
The present invention relates to a power supply device for a vehicle equipped with an auxiliary battery, and more particularly, by installing an auxiliary battery separately from the main battery used in the existing vehicle, the auxiliary battery is automatically charged when the main battery is fully charged. The present invention relates to a power supply of a vehicle having an auxiliary battery capable of increasing the use capacity and supplying sufficient electric energy required by the vehicle.
In general, a vehicle uses a battery voltage at start-up, and a battery and a generator are installed to supply electric devices such as indoor lamps, instruments, and air conditioners of a vehicle.
In other words, when the car's battery is driven by rotating the starter motor when starting, the alternator connected to the fan belt is developed to charge the battery, but the capacity that can be used after charging is limited. Due to the carelessness of the user, the battery can sometimes be discharged and the vehicle can't be started. In addition, the car battery is continuously charged / discharged. This can be shortened, so that a function as a battery cannot be achieved.
In order to prevent the battery capacity to open the bonnet of the vehicle to measure the voltage of the battery using a voltmeter, but it was a cumbersome problem to implement this.
The present invention has been devised to solve the above problems, and can be used by installing a secondary battery separately from the main battery to supply sufficient electrical energy required by the vehicle. When the main battery is charged, the secondary battery is automatically The battery can be charged to increase the capacity of the battery, and when the charging voltage of the main battery falls below a certain voltage, the vehicle can be started using an auxiliary battery. In this case, the power for operating this is to be supplied through the auxiliary battery so that the surveillance camera can be normally operated even when the vehicle is moving or stopped.
In addition, even if the main battery can not maintain the starting voltage (approximately 11.5V) to provide a power supply of the vehicle equipped with a secondary battery that can use the auxiliary battery by a simple switch operation.

Hereinafter, with reference to the accompanying drawings a power supply device for a vehicle equipped with a secondary battery of the present invention.
1 is a circuit diagram of a power supply device for a vehicle equipped with an auxiliary battery according to the present invention, and as shown in the drawing, to receive electric energy generated from the vehicle's generation (G) to supply power required for the vehicle. The main battery 10 is provided, and is connected in parallel with the main battery 10 in accordance with the switching operation of the auxiliary battery charging relay 20 to charge the electric energy supplied from the generator to the auxiliary battery 30 ) Is provided.
In addition, when the charging voltage of the main battery 10 is more than a predetermined voltage (13.5V), the relay drive control unit 40 for controlling the switching operation of the auxiliary battery charging relay 20 is configured, the relay drive control unit 40 The resistor R1, the zener diode Z, the variable resistor VR2 and the resistor R3 are circuit-configured at the base end to determine the switching voltage of the transistor TR1, which is a switching element. The transistor TR2 performing the switching operation at the turn-on time and the distribution voltage of the main battery 10 at the turn-on time of the transistor TR2 are applied to the base terminal to operate the transistor TR3 and the transistor TR3. The relay switch driving coil 41 for operating the auxiliary battery charging relay switch 20 by the power supply voltage of the main battery 10 at the time of switching " on "
That is, when the main battery 10 voltage is above a predetermined voltage (13.5V), the relay switch 20 is switched on by the operation of the relay switch driving coil 41 so that the electrical energy generated from the generator is generated by the secondary battery. It is supplied to 30 and is to be charged.
On the other hand, the auxiliary battery voltage detection unit 50 is configured to detect the output voltage of the auxiliary battery 30 to supply / cut off the electrical energy output to the load (for example, surveillance camera), the auxiliary battery is a voltage detection unit 50 is switched according to a relay switch 51 for switching operation to supply / block electric energy supplied to a load, a relay coil 52 for controlling the operation of the switch, and a voltage input to a base end. Only when the charging voltage of the transistor TR4 and the auxiliary battery 30 that controls the current flowing through the relay coil 51 is a constant voltage (13.5V), the relay switch 51 is operated (turned on) to supply electrical energy to the load. Is composed of a resistor (R4), a zener diode (Z), a variable resistor (VR5), and a resistor (R6) for regulating the distribution voltage input to the base terminal of the transistor TR4.
Separately, a start switch for supplying electric energy of the auxiliary battery 30 to the main battery 10 to start the vehicle when the charging voltage of the main battery 10 is discharged below a predetermined voltage (11.5 V). 60 is comprised.
Here, the capacitor (C1) is to delay the operation of the relay 20 for a predetermined time during the switching operation in accordance with the change in the charging voltage of the main battery 30 so as to prevent the noise is generated or damaged by the frequent switching operation of the relay 20 Consists of.
When explaining the operation of the present invention configured as described above, if the main battery 10 that is supplied with the electric energy generated from the generator (not shown) of the vehicle can supply the power required for the vehicle is a predetermined voltage or more, The secondary battery 30 connected in parallel with the main battery 10 is charged with electric energy supplied to the generator in accordance with the switching operation of the relay 20, that is, the output voltage of the main battery 10 is constant. When the voltage is 13.5V, the conduction voltage is higher ("high" voltage) according to the division voltages of the resistor R1, the zener diode Z, the variable resistor VR2, and the resistor R3 at the base terminal of the transistor TR1. Is applied and the switch is "on".
Subsequently, when the transistor TR1 is "turned on", a "low" voltage is applied to the base terminal of the transistor TR2, thereby switching "on".
Accordingly, a voltage division voltage of the main battery is applied to the base terminal of the transistor TR3 so that the transistor TR3 is switched "on" and the relay is driven by the power supply voltage of the main battery 10 when the transistor TR3 is switched "on". A current flows in the coil 41, whereby the auxiliary battery charging relay 20 is switched "on".
That is, when the main battery 10 voltage is greater than or equal to a predetermined voltage (13.5V), the relay 20 is switched on by the operation of the relay driving coil 41 so that electric energy generated from the generator is transferred to the auxiliary battery 30. It is supplied and charged.
The auxiliary battery 30 is configured to supply electric energy to a load, for example, a vehicle-mounted surveillance camera, so that the auxiliary battery is supplied only when the auxiliary battery is above a certain voltage to prevent the battery from being discharged or consumed more than necessary. Give it.
In other words, when the charging voltage of the auxiliary battery is lower than or equal to the constant voltage (13.5V), the distribution voltage applied to the base terminal of the transistor TR4 may be set to the "low" voltage (this is the resistance R4 and the zener diode Z). And a variable resistor VR5 and resistor R6 constitute a circuit and determine a resistance value, and when the transistor TR4 is " off ", no current flows in the relay coil 52, so that the relay switch 51 is " Off ", the electrical energy of the secondary battery is not output to the load.
Separately, when the charging voltage of the main battery 10 is discharged below a predetermined voltage (11.5V), the vehicle can be started using the auxiliary battery 30, and the auxiliary switch 60 is operated to turn on the switch. If possible, it is possible to supply the electrical energy of the auxiliary battery 30 to the main battery 10.
As described above, according to the present invention, the auxiliary battery is installed separately from the main battery so that the auxiliary battery is automatically charged when the main battery is fully charged so as to supply sufficient electric energy required by the vehicle, thereby increasing the battery usage capacity. When the charging voltage of the main battery falls below a certain voltage, the vehicle can be started using the auxiliary battery. When a separate component is installed and used in the vehicle such as a surveillance camera, the power for operating the battery is supplied through the auxiliary battery. This allows the surveillance camera to operate normally while the vehicle is moving or stationary.
In addition, even if the main battery cannot maintain the starting voltage (approximately 11.5V), it is equipped with a safety function that can start differentially using the auxiliary battery with a simple switch operation. If the output voltage of the auxiliary battery falls below a certain voltage, It has the effect of preventing the shortening of battery life by automatically shutting off the load.
