원통형의 지지대와 그 위에 얹어지는 기존에 시판되는 좌변대를 결합하여 하나의 세트로 이루어지며 별다른 장치나 공사 없이도 간편하게 본 고안품을 놓아 쓸 수 있어 사용이 편리하고 외관이 깨끗하여 종래의 쭈그리고 앉아야 하는 불편을 없애어 무릎을 쓰지 못하는 거동 불편한 자도 걸터앉아 쉽게 용변을 볼 수 있다.이러한 좌변기를 제작하기 위하여 먼저 합성수지 또는 폐비닐 등의 재료를 이용하여 3mm의 두께와 높이 35Cm 및 지름 30Cm의 원통형 몰드를 만들고 악취를 제거할 수 있는 상단부 우측과 좌측에 폭 6Cm 높이 3Cm의 환기용의 공기구멍(6)을 두었으며 몸체(1)를 사출시켜 이를 지지대로 하고 하단 부위에 재래용 화장실 개구(3)에 맞도록 지지대의 크기를 정한 후 지지대의 바깥 면에 걸림대(4)를 만들어 몸체(1)에 부착시키는데 몸체(1)는 재래식 화장실 개구 부위(3)에 걸치게 하여 밑으로 빠지지 않게 한다.개구 부위(3)가 몸체(1)를 넣고도 남는 부분은 시멘트 또는 판자 등으로 막아 발이 빠지지 않게 시공을 하여 화장실 바닥에서 악취가 나지 않게 하되 공기구멍(6)으로만 새어나오게 하면 gas가 차지 않아 위험하게 않게 된다..이와 같이 완성이 된 좌변기에 사용하지 않을 때는 냄새가 위로 올라오는 것을 억제하기 위하여 상단부에 수세식 좌변기 뚜껑(2)에 엉덩이를 올려놓는 변기에 앉을 좌변기(5)만 구입하여 부착한 것이다.It consists of a cylindrical support and the existing commercially available left-side rest on top of it, which consists of a single set.
