Abstract

PURPOSE: An overhead console of a vehicle is provided to easily store and extract glasses by opening a storing space portion sufficiently when the glasses are extracted. CONSTITUTION: A body is fixed at a head lining in which a room lamp is provided at one side, neighboring on a driver's seat. A main cover(110) is hinged and coupled rotatably at a rear side of the body, and a storing space portion(111) for containing the glasses is provided at an inside of the body. A sub cover(120) for preventing a separation of the glasses is placed on a front side of the main cover. A return member(200) for supporting rotatably the sub cover in a center of main cover and returning to an initial position, is installed between the main cover and the sub cover. The return member comprises first and second gear and a torsion spring.
