PURPOSE: A method for overlapping a telephone subscriber line is provided to economically and efficiently use the subscriber telephone line by installing terminal devices at both sides of the conventional one subscriber telephone line for transmitting and receiving data of more than two lines between a telephone office and a subscriber. CONSTITUTION: More than two telephone lines(10a,10b) are overlapped in a telephone office terminal(10) for transmitting data to one subscriber telephone line(20). A subscriber terminal(11) performs a function like the telephone office terminal(10) and secures more than two telephone lines(11a,11b).
