Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for setting an incoming function of a mobile communication terminal is provided to allow the terminal to change the incoming function when a time set by a timer is reached, or to change the incoming function in compliance with a pre-decided schedule when an absolute time is reached. CONSTITUTION: If an automatic incoming function is set in a main menu of a terminal(100), one of a simple incoming change and schedule incoming setting is selected(110). If the simple incoming change is selected, timer is set(120). After the timer is completely set, one of incoming functions is selected(130). If a time set by the timer is reached in the step 120, setting is changed to the incoming function selected in the step 130(140). If the schedule incoming setting is selected in the step 110, an absolute time is set(150) and one incoming function to be used in the absolute time is selected(160). And, when implementing various incoming functions(170), the steps 150 and 160 are repeated.
