The present invention relates to a disinfectant composition, a method for producing the same, and a method for sterilizing a toothbrush using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a disinfectant composition for sterilization of a toothbrush and a method for producing the same.

Until now, little efforts have been made to keep the toothbrush, a personal hygiene product used by everyone for the health of the oral cavity, free of germs. Investigating how the average toothbrush user cares for their toothbrush shows that most users rinse with water after brushing and store it with several toothbrushes in a container such as a cup. there was. However, in general, about 300 kinds of bacteria exist in the oral cavity of a person. For example, the causative agents of periodontal diseases such as Treponema denticola, Fusobacterium, Selenomona, Peptococcus, and the like, bad breath causing bacteria such as Porphyromonas, Prevotella, Haemophilus, and Veillonella . In addition, infectious bacteria or pathogenic microorganisms may be present in the oral cavity. When these bacteria and the like adhere to the toothbrush during brushing, and if several toothbrushes are stored together in one container such as a cup, there is a high possibility that the bacteria cross-contaminate each other between the toothbrushes. Therefore, due to the wrong storage method of the toothbrush, not only oral diseases such as periodontal disease, bad breath, but also the risk of transmission of infectious diseases such as cold.

In order to solve the above problems, at home, the toothbrush is boiled in boiling water, or used to sterilize in the sun. However, since the toothbrush is contaminated with bacteria again with one use, it was practically impossible to perform the above method every time after brushing.

In addition, in order to keep the toothbrush hygienic, an electric device such as an ozone generating toothbrush sterilizer or a UV generating toothbrush sterilizer was connected to a power source. However, these were expensive and were a big burden for the general consumer to use. In addition, there is a risk of electric shock because electrical appliances must be installed in a humid bathroom.

The present invention is to solve the above problems, the object of the present invention is to rinse the toothbrush in water after brushing, simply by spraying two or three times a fungicide composition harmless to the human body or simply immersed in the fungicide composition or diluent thereof Providing a disinfectant composition, a method of manufacturing the same, and a method of disinfecting a toothbrush using the same, which prevents the spread of infectious diseases such as periodontal disease, bad breath, or other diseases such as periodontal disease, bad breath, and the like by storing the toothbrush hygienically with fast and continuous sterilization It is.

In the method of sterilizing the toothbrush according to the present invention, the disinfectant composition is characterized in that it is diluted on a separate container immediately before being used in the toothbrush after brushing.

Hereinafter, the sterilant composition according to the present invention, a manufacturing method thereof, and a method of sterilizing a toothbrush using the same will be described in detail.

The fungicide composition according to the present invention contains ethanol and trichloro acid as main disinfectants. Ethanol is volatile and has a fast-acting bactericidal effect. Therefore, it acts on microorganisms in a short time and shows a wide range of bactericidal effects. For this reason, ethanol is widely used as a fungicide in other fields. Among the ethanol, the most sterilizing power is known to be about 75% ethanol. However, since the fungicide of the present invention is used in a toothbrush directly applied to the mouth, it has an ethanol content lower than 75% in order to reduce the peculiar smell of alcohol, but may exhibit excellent sterilizing power even with a low ethanol content. In order to achieve the object of the present invention, the ethanol is preferably fermented ethanol.

Another main bactericide contained in the fungicide composition of the present invention is trichloro acid. Trichloro acid here refers to "2, 4, 4-trichloro-2-hydroxy- diphenyl ether". Unlike ethanol, it has a sustained bactericidal effect. Trichloric acid is a function that maintains sterilization power continuously until the next toothbrush use, because even after the bacteria are removed by the instantaneous strong sterilization effect caused by ethanol, the bacteria are likely to be infected again from the surrounding toothbrush or the air. Do it.

In addition to the fungicides, the fungicide composition of the present invention contains sodium benzoate. Sodium benzoate has the effect of enhancing the bactericidal power of the ethanol and trichloro acid. Sodium benzoate is excellent for human safety and is therefore suitable for disinfecting toothbrushes that come in direct contact with the mouth.

It is preferable that glycerin is further included in addition to the said sodium benzoate. Glycerin is also a safe substance. Glycerin has a relatively low volatility compared to ethanol, the main disinfectant, thus providing a continuous sterilization function. In addition, it enables freeze protection at low temperatures. In order to satisfy the function of freezing prevention, it is usually preferred to use at least about 4% by weight of the total composition. In order to achieve the object of the present invention, the glycerol is preferably about 95.0% or more concentrated glycerol.

In order to sterilize a toothbrush according to the present invention, it is preferable to spray the sterilant composition according to the present invention to the toothbrush or to immerse the sterilant composition. To spray on a toothbrush, the disinfectant composition according to the present invention is stored in a transparent or opaque container of 5 to 300 ml of a mist pump or a spray gun type. The stored fungicide composition can be seen by excellent spraying effect by simply spraying when used after brushing. Otherwise, the toothbrush may be sterilized by direct soaking in the fungicide composition according to the present invention. After brushing the disinfectant composition stored in a 5 to 300 ml transparent or opaque container, the toothbrush may be directly immersed in a small amount, or diluted slightly in a separate container, and then immersed in the diluent. At this time, it is preferable that the amount to be removed once used is 1 to 20ml.

As shown in Table 2, the fungicide composition prepared according to Example 2 was found to have an excellent bactericidal effect against bacteria, in particular Staphylococcus aureus ( E. coli ) and Escherichia coli (E. coli). In addition, Candida albicans (Candida) and Aspergillus niger (black mold) were found to have an excellent bactericidal effect. Therefore, the bactericidal composition of the present invention has been proved to have an excellent bactericidal effect on not only bacteria but also yeast and mold. The bactericidal effect has been shown to rise with increasing concentration of the bactericide composition. In all the strains, the bactericidal effect was better when the concentration of the bactericide was 50 µl than when the concentration of the bactericide was 25 µl.

The results of the second embodiment are also shown in the photographs of Figs. These pictures also show a round ring formed by killing microorganisms without killing the test specimen treated with the fungicide composition according to the present invention.

In addition, it can be seen that the composition of Example 2 has a better bactericidal effect on all the microorganisms than the composition of Example 1 above. As described above, Example 2 shows about 5 wt% less fermentation ethanol than Example 1, which shows a better effect: an increase of 0.3 wt% of trichloroic acid and 10 wt% of concentrated glycerin (95.0 wt%). It can be seen that the result is the addition of%. Therefore, the fungicide composition according to the present invention was found to include the most preferable fermentation ethanol, trichloro acid and glycerin.

In addition to the above experiments, the present inventors performed the following experiments in order to prove the effect of applying the fungicide composition prepared in Example 2 to the toothbrush actually used.

First, four toothbrushes were given to four persons (A, B, D, and D) who did not have any special pathological diseases in the oral cavity. One toothbrush of each of the four toothbrushes of each experimenter used as above was kept untreated as a control. The remaining three toothbrushes were sprayed five times (about 1 cc) with the disinfectant composition prepared in Example 2, and then 5 minutes (Experimental Group 1), 4 hours (Experimental Group 2) and 8 hours (Experimental Group 3) were passed. Thereafter, each of the four toothbrushes of each experimenter was put in a cap tube containing 20 ml of saline solution, and shaken sufficiently. Thereafter, 1 ml of the solution in the cap tube was serially diluted in 9 ml of saline solution, and 0.1 ml of the solution was plated three times in a solid medium in dilution steps and incubated in the incubator for about 24 to about 48 hours. Thereafter, the number of viable cells was counted for the control group and the experimental group 1. The results are shown in Table 3 below.

As shown in Table 3, when the fungicide composition according to the present invention was treated, it was found that in all four people, 100% of the bactericidal effect was shown within 5 minutes after the treatment of the fungicide composition according to Example 2. Of course, there may be some differences depending on the individual, but the infections such as bacteria that occur between normal normal people were able to confirm the excellent effect to prevent 100%. Results for Experimental Group 2 and Experimental Group 3 not shown in Table 3 are shown in the photographs in FIGS. As shown in Figures 11 to 14, it was found that even after 5 minutes, 4 hours, and even 8 hours after treatment with the fungicide composition according to the present invention, the microorganism hardly proliferated. Therefore, the treatment of the fungicide composition according to the present invention was found to have a sterilizing effect lasting more than 8 hours as well as the instant bactericidal power in which 100% of bacteria were sterilized within 5 minutes after the treatment. As such, since the bactericidal effect lasts until the next tooth brushing, it has been proved that a good bactericidal effect can be obtained by spraying or immersing the fungicide composition according to the present invention after brushing the teeth.

By using the disinfectant composition and the method for preparing the same according to the present invention, after brushing the teeth, the toothbrush can be rinsed in water and sanitized with a quick and continuous disinfecting power by simply spraying the disinfectant composition harmless to the human body several times or immersing it in the disinfectant composition or diluent thereof.
