Abstract

PURPOSE: A method of controlling image delivery during call connection in a video phone is provided to turn off a camera if an image recording mode is set, to start a voice call service, and to read a pre-recorded motion picture of a memory to wirelessly deliver the picture to the other party, thereby protecting privacy. CONSTITUTION: A controller checks whether a call is generated(3a). If so, the controller checks a state of a flag to identify whether an image recording mode is set(3b). If so, the controller generates a command for turning off a camera(3c). The controller starts a voice call service and wirelessly delivers a prestored recording image of a memory(3d). If the image recording mode is not set, the controller generates a command for turning on the camera(3e). The controller starts the voice call service and wirelessly delivers a motion picture taken by the camera(3f).
