CONSTITUTION: In a water pump having an impeller(1) for discharging water coolant by rotation, and a pump body(3) for accommodating the impeller, a sealing structure comprises a closed loop shape groove(7) carved into a surface(5) of the pump body which is mounted to a cylinder block(10) of an engine; a liquid inlet path(8) formed to communicate the groove to outside; and a liquid gasket(9) injected into the groove through the liquid injection port and hardening in the groove so as to seal the gap formed between the pump body and the surface of the cylinder block and prevent leakage of coolant water.
