Abstract

PURPOSE: A separable brake disk is provided to reduce judder of a brake by decreasing coning with discharging frictional heat from a disk body through a high thermal conduction wall, and to improve braking performance by reducing the weight of the disk brake. CONSTITUTION: A separable brake disk is divided into a wall part(2) made of aluminum, and a disk body(4) made of cast iron. A ring-shaped reinforcing cover(3) is formed in the connection part between the wall part and the disk body. The reinforcing cover is combined with an assembling bolt(3-1), and made of cast iron to reinforce the connection part. Friction heat is generated in the disk body, and radiated promptly through the wall part having the high thermal conductivity. Coning is reduced, and flexibility of the wall part is improved with forming the aluminum wall part. Judder is reduced with decreasing coning, and braking efficiency is improved with reducing the weight of the disk brake.
