Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for communicating in an etiquette mode of a mobile communication terminal is provided to easily and conveniently receive an urgent call in a character message mode by making a caller recognize a character message mode of a receiving terminal. CONSTITUTION: A user selects a button of a character message mode for an etiquette mode, so that a destination mode of a terminal is converted into the character message mode(S101). The terminal receives a destination call(S102). The terminal transmits the preliminarily recorded announcement message to a caller, so that the caller input a character message instead of a voice message(S103). If the caller transmits information necessary for the character message, the terminal receives the transmitted information(S104). The terminal makes the received DTMF tone into a character message(S105). The character message is displayed at a display to inform the user information transmitted from the caller(S106).
