Abstract

PURPOSE: A portable ice bag is provided to achieve an improved space utilization by reducing the size and weight of the ice bat, while improving cold-insulation capability. CONSTITUTION: A portable ice bag comprises a handle(1) formed of nylon material; a zipper(2) for allowing articles to be accommodated into or extracted from the bag; a heat insulating plate(3) formed of a cross linked polyethylene foam having a flexibility and a superior cold-insulation capability than a styrofoam material; and water resistant vinyl film coated to the heat insulating plate so as to protect the heat insulating plate from being scratched. Since the bag is formed of a flexible material, an improved space utilization is obtained.
