Abstract

PURPOSE: A rubber fishing sinker to be easily detached from a fishing rod is provided to enhance convenience in fishing by adding tungsten and synthetic rubber in oil, contrary to previous sinker made of lead having different weights. CONSTITUTION: The fishing sinker is manufactured by admixing tungsten 1-25kg and rubber 1kg in 1kg of a specific combined oil. The fishing sinker can be easily released like chewing gum in spite of having the same weight to any common lead sinker. The sinker is commonly hanged and secured on a fishing line. Because the sinker is made of crude rubber and tungsten, it is not harmful to surrounding environment and can be adhered to and/detached from general fishing lines and fishing hooks without requiring several sinkers.
