CONSTITUTION: A stator of a pole conversion motor having a main wound, an auxiliary wound, and a main compensation wound, comprises 24 slots. The 24 slots consist of slots(22-1) only for the main wound, slots(22-2) only for the main wound and the main compensation wound, and slots(22-3) only for the auxiliary wound and the main compensation wound. The slots(22-2, 22-3) only for the main wound and the main compensation wound, or only for the auxiliary wound and the main compensation wound have their sizes larger than the size of the slot(22-1) only for the main wound. The size ratio of the slot is determined based on the ratio of the number of wound turns.
