Description

리본 광섬유 케이블{OPTICAL FIBER RIBBON CABLE}Ribbon Fiber Optic Cables {OPTICAL FIBER RIBBON CABLE}

The present invention relates to an optical fiber ribbon cable, and more particularly to a ribbon optical fiber cable configured to reduce the outer diameter of the cable and reduce the weight.

In general, a ribbon optical fiber cable, which is one of optical signal transmission media, realizes high density of optical cables, thereby increasing work efficiency by collective connection on a terminal. The ribbon optical fiber aligns a plurality of optical fibers coated with an ultraviolet curable resin in parallel, and forms a ribbon optical fiber by forming an external UV coating part with an ultraviolet curable resin. When the ribbon optical fiber formed by the UV coating part is laminated in a matrix structure, the ribbon optical fiber layer is formed.

1 is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of a ribbon optical fiber cable according to an embodiment of the prior art, a plurality of tubes 12 for protecting a plurality of ribbon optical fibers 10, the tube 12 and a ribbon optical fiber ( 10) a jelly type compound 11 filled between the outer winding tape 13 and the outer winding tape 13 wound around the outer winding tape 13 to protect the plurality of tubes 12 and act as a waterproofing member. It consists of an outer sheath 15 which is enclosed. A jelly type compound 14 is filled between the outer winding tape 13 and the plurality of tubes 12 to cushion the external shock. In addition, the plurality of tubes 12 are located in the center and installed to surround the tensile line 16 coated by the sheath 17, thereby increasing the mechanical strength and tensile strength of the optical cable.

However, in the ribbon optical fiber cable as described above, since the tube is installed in a collective form around the tensile line, the outer diameter of the optical cable is increased, taking up a lot of installation space, and the weight is increased.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to solve the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a ribbon optical fiber cable configured to ensure a smooth installation space by minimizing the outer diameter of the optical cable.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a ribbon optical fiber cable, which is filled between a tube for protecting each ribbon optical fiber layer when the ribbon optical fiber layer is mounted in a plurality of units, and the tube and the ribbon optical fiber. Jelly compound to prevent penetration, waterproof tape to prevent moisture ingress from the outside, outer coating positioned at the outermost side of the waterproof tape and the optical fiber cable to prevent damage from external mechanical influence In order to be characterized in that it consists of at least one or more tensile lines inserted into the outer coating.
