Abstract

PURPOSE: A repeater for mobile telecommunication is provided to resolve partial shadowing area due to short electric field strength, enable telephone calls in shadowing area of service subscribers with improving telephone call quality, and remove intricacy required for constructing an independent path of a diversity path and the problem of frequency shift. CONSTITUTION: A couple of band pass filters(2,2') filter signals received in a couple of receiving antennas(1,1'). A couple of low noise amplifiers(3,3') restrain received noise. A couple of couplers(4,4') are connected with an RF switch(5) and log amplifiers(6,6'), so that a comparator(7) receives signals from each log amplifier(6,6') for comparing the signals. A controller(8) controls the RF switch(5) according to the result of the comparator(7). A band pass filter(9) filters received signals according to the selection of the RF switch(5). A power amplifier(10) amplifies filtered RF signals at high gain for transmitting the amplified RF signals to a duplexer(11). The duplexer(11) filters the amplified RF signals for transmitting through a transmitting antenna(12).
