Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for confirming message of a VMS is provided to listen, read, keep or delete a telephone call message or fax message stored in the VMS by using a PC connected to the Internet network. CONSTITUTION: A subscriber requests message confirmation of a WGS(Web Gateway Server) by using a PC connected to the Internet network(S30). The WGS requests message information of an integrated message-managing server(S31). The integrated message-managing server transmits message header information to the WGS(S32). The WGS transmits message header information to the subscriber through the PC(S33). The subscriber requests reading and listening to the corresponding message of the WGS(S34). The WGS requests the integrated message-managing server to transmit the corresponding message(S35). The integrated message-managing server requests a VMS(Voiced Mail System) to transmit the corresponding message(S36). The VMS requests an MCS(Message Conversion Server) to convert the requested message(S37). The MCS converts a voice or fax message to a file in an image or sound form, and transmits the converted message to the WGS(S38). The WGS transmits the converted message to the PC of the subscriber(S39). The subscriber confirms the transmitted message and reads, stores, deletes or transmits the message(S40).
