Abstract

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for preventing fingerprints from plagiarizing is provided to prevent a unauthorized person from using the fingerprint which is imprinted on glass when a user holds the fingerprint in a fingerprint recognition system. CONSTITUTION: In case that a user holds the user's fingers to a small-sized window of a security device capable of identifying fingerprints, the user's fingerprints are identified through devices such as a CCD element. The user's fingerprints are imprinted on the window in this course. Therefore, the user pays attention to deal with the identification device in order not to touch the window when the user's fingerprints are identified through the identification device. Forms of the fingerprints are estimated by a computer. After that, original fingerprints are identified.
