종래에 열발생로의 폐열을 이용하여 온수를 가열하는 장치가 공지되어 있으나, 공지되어 있는 고안들은 열발생로의 연도의 외주에 외통체를 설치하여 저탕식 열교환기를 형성하거나, 연도의 내부에 나선관으로 된 열교환기를 설치하여 가열된 온수를 공급하여 왔으나, 상기의 고안들은 열교환기가 직접 연소가스와 첩촉되고 있어, 열교환기에 냉수를 급수하여 냉수가 연소가스와 열교환되어 가열될 때 연소가스의 온도가 이슬점 이하로 냉각되어 연소가스중의 수증기가 복수(復水)되면서 연소가스주의 아황산 가스와 결합하여 황산을 생성시켜 열교환기의 전열면을 부식시키므로, 열교환기의 수명이 단축되는 단점이 있으며, 또 연도의 내부 중앙에 나선관으로 된 열교환기를 설치할 경우 폐열흡수 효율은 증대되나 연소가스의 통풍 저항이 증대되므로, 연소가스를 강제통풍 시키기 위한 송풍기를 설치하여야 하므로 부가적인 설비에 따른 가격 상승의 요인이 되고, 만약 강제통풍을 실시하지 않을 경우에는 내통의 직경을 크게 하여야 하므로, 설비비가 고가로 지출되는 것과 설치면적이 크게 차지하는 문제점이 있었다.Conventionally, a device for heating hot water by using waste heat from a heat generating furnace is known, but known designs are provided with an outer cylinder on the outer periphery of a flue of a heat generating furnace to form a low-temperature heat exchanger, or spiral inside the flue.
