Description
The present invention relates to a self-diagnostic device for power steering, and more particularly, to a self-diagnostic device for power steering to improve the reliability of the monitor for the overall engine control by adding a self-diagnostic function to the power steering.
In general, the higher the vehicle speed, the lower the steering force is. Therefore, constant power steering is dangerous because the steering wheel is too light at high speed. In order to prevent this, there is an induction type that changes the steering force according to the engine speed and a vehicle speed type that changes according to the vehicle speed. Due to the development of the advanced steering technology, diversification of driver's preferences, and the like, electronic control power steering for changing steering power by inputting various information into the engine electronic controller has been put into practical use.
The steering force of the power steering is determined by the pressure applied to the power cylinder, and there are a flow control method and a reaction force control method as means for changing the pressure. The flow rate control method is a method of controlling the pressure applied to the power cylinder by restricting or bypassing oil passing through the hydraulic circuit of the power steering by a valve or the like. This is a simple system and not very variable in steering power variation. The reaction force control method directly controls the opening of the control valve. The pressure applied to the power cylinder determines the opening degree of the control valve, which can widen the variation in steering force. On the other hand, a mechanism such as a reaction force plunger is required separately, which complicates the system.
The self-diagnosis of the power steering system, that is, the power steering system is included in each parameter learning condition of the engine control, so the purpose is to provide a self-diagnosis for the power steering is required.

(200: refers to a sensor for detecting the opening amount of the throttle valve), and the engine electronic control to determine whether the power steering abnormality according to the load state of the engine according to the vehicle speed and the opening amount of the throttle valve, and outputs a warning signal in case of abnormality Apparatus 300 and a warning unit 500 for notifying the abnormal state of the power steering by receiving the warning signal of the engine control device 300.
2 is a flowchart illustrating an operation state of the present invention, the method comprising: checking a self-diagnosis mode, detecting a vehicle speed in a self-diagnosis mode, and checking whether the vehicle speed is more than 2,500 RPM, and detecting more than 2,500 RPM. It detects the opening amount of the throttle valve and checks whether the opening amount is 50% or more, and when it is 50% or more, determines that it is in an abnormal state and outputs a warning signal informing of this.
The operation of the present invention configured as described above will be described.
The setting state of the self-diagnosis mode is checked while maintaining the standby state (S21). And when the self-diagnosis mode is set, the engine electronic control apparatus 300 is information on the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed sensor 100 (S22) and information about the opening amount of the throttle valve detected by the TPS 200 (S24). ), Ie, the engine electronic control apparatus 300 receiving information about the load state of the engine first checks whether the vehicle speed is 2,500 RPM or more (S23). As a result, when it is 2,500 RPM or less, it determines with the power steering system being normal, and controls the operation of a power steering like conventionally.
However, when the vehicle speed is more than 2,500 RPM, it is checked whether the opening amount of the throttle valve detected by the TPS 200 is 50% or more (S25). When the opening amount of the throttle valve sensed by the TPS 200 is determined to be 50% or less, that is, the load of the engine is 50% or less, the power steering system is determined to be normal and the operation of the power steering is controlled as described above. However, when the opening amount of the throttle valve detected by the TPS 200 is detected to be 50% or more, it is determined that an abnormality has occurred in the power steering (S26), and the warning unit 500 is driven to an abnormal state of the power steering system. Outputs a warning signal to indicate.
As described above, the present invention determines that the power steering system is abnormal when the opening speed of the vehicle speed and the throttle valve detected by the vehicle speed sensor and the TPS in the self-diagnosis mode is higher than 2,500 RPM and 50%, respectively. By outputting the self-diagnosis of the power steering system can be implemented.
