Description
The present invention relates to a fuel amount display device using a magnet, and in detail, a conductor for resistance value recognition is printed on a printed board, and a ground terminal is formed by connecting metal foils side by side in a fan shape on the conductor to form a ground terminal. When the movable member to which the magnet is attached moves left and right on the resistance detecting conductor according to the buoyancy of the float, the magnet is in contact with the conductor of the printed board by attracting the thin metal plate which is the ground terminal. The present invention relates to a non-contact fuel amount display device using a magnet that detects a predetermined resistance value and a current change accordingly.
In general, a fuel level indicator is installed on a dashboard of an automobile by an indicator indicating how much fuel is stored in the fuel tank, and the fuel level indicator is operated by a fuel level indicator installed in the fuel tank. As shown in FIG. 4, the general operating principle of
When the fuel tank of the vehicle is filled with fuel, the float 10 rises as the amount of fuel increases, and the support 11 is operated so that the movable member 13 fixed to the fixing member 12 is printed on the printed board 14. The resistance value recognition conductor 15 is moved to the left side, and at this time, the resistance value contact conductor printed on the printed board is contacted with the ground terminal 16 provided on one side of the movable member. The fuel level indicator is driven by the current change using the change. On the contrary, as the fuel amount of the fuel tank decreases, the float 10 is lowered and the movable member 13 moves to the right. Will be driven.
However, as described above, since the fuel amount display device through the contact between the ground terminal and the resistance value detecting conductor is mostly in the form of the resistance value conductor and the ground terminal continuously contacting each other, the use period of some time has elapsed. Often, the contact part is contaminated by foreign matters, etc., and this problem causes a large deviation in the indicator indicating the remaining fuel amount because the fuel level display device is not normally operated.
The present invention was devised to improve the problems of the conventional touch fuel amount display device as described above, but in the prior art, the conductor for resistance value recognition and the ground terminal are always in contact with each other. It is an object of the present invention to provide a non-contact fuel amount display device composed of a thin metal plate having a constant distance from a value recognizing conductor, in which the thin metal plate is in contact with the conductor by a magnetic force of a magnet.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention prints a conductor for resistance value recognition on a printed board, and forms a ground terminal in the form of a metal plate parallel to the conductor at a predetermined distance from the conductor, A magnet is attached to a movable member moving left and right of the resistance recognizing conductor so that the ground terminal made of the conductor and the metal thin plate is operated by a current change using a resistance change through contact by a magnet.
Hereinafter, with reference to the accompanying drawings will be described in detail the configuration of the non-contact fuel amount display device using a magnet of the present invention.
1 is a perspective view of a printed circuit board showing a ground terminal made of a thin metal plate, Figure 2 is a rear perspective view of the fuel amount display device according to the present invention, as the present invention,
A resistance value conductor 4 printed on the printed circuit board 2 of the fuel amount display device 1, and a ground terminal 5 side by side connected with the metal thin plate 3 in a fan shape at a predetermined distance from the conductor. And a movable member 7 which moves left and right on the conductor 4 by a support 6 connected to the float in accordance with the buoyancy force of a float (not shown) on the rear surface of the printed board 2. It consists of a magnet 8 attached to one side of the.
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3, the movable member 7 connected to this and the support 6 by the float which rises and falls according to the quantity of fuel moves to the left and right along the back surface of the conductor 4 for resistance value recognition. When the magnet 8 attached to the movable member moves at the same time, two or three metal thin plates 3 serving as the ground terminals 5 are attracted by magnetic force, thereby attracting the metal thin plate and the conductor. The fuel level indicator is operated by detecting a predetermined resistance value of the contacted portion and the current change according to the contact, and the fuel level indicator indicates the remaining amount of fuel remaining in the fuel tank.
According to the fuel amount display device according to the present invention having the above object and configuration, the portion where the magnetic force does not act is grounded at the place where the magnetic force acts in the state where the conductor and the ground metal plate are always separated from each other. Since only the terminal (metal thin plate) comes into contact with the conductor, and the fuel level display device is operated by the current change using the resistance change through the contact, the fuel level display device is normally operated since there is no fear of contamination of the conductor and the ground terminal. It works, giving the product a reliability effect.
