Abstract

PURPOSE: A hand operated apparatus for displaying numbers is provided to allow a user to easily display and change desired numbers/alphabets without requiring an electric power source. CONSTITUTION: The hand operated apparatus for displaying numbers comprises several segments(10) having a display part(10A) and a non-display part(10B) for displaying numbers/alphabets; a shaft(12) longitudinally penetrating both ends of the segments to support the segments and to be used as a transverse rotating shaft according to the transverse rotation of the segments; and a frame(14) having desired depth openings(16) provided in corresponding positions to the segments for ensuring the free rotation of the segments. The segments are mounted on the frame by way of the shaft.
