Abstract

PURPOSE: A flexible elliptical antenna for use of portable phone is provided to reduce influence from electromagnetic wave by arranging antenna to be spaced apart from user's body, while improving wave receiving sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A flexible elliptical antenna is manufactured by arranging a wire having a diameter of 0.01 to 0.2mm and which is made up of a conductive material such as copper, silver or carbon fiber; coating the surface of the wire with a mesh having a high electrical conductivity; coating the surface of the resultant structure with soft resin like polyester, nylon, urethane or rubber; and inserting polyester or nylon fiber into the core of the antenna. The antenna which is made up of flexible and soft material prevents electromagnet wave from concentrating to user's body.
