Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an optical disk player, and more particularly, to a protective structure of an optical disk which is recorded and reproduced by an optical pick-up.
In general, optical disks are relatively high density recording and reproducing and semi-permanent storage, compared to magnetic recording tapes and LPs, and thus optical disk players using them have been widely used in recent years.
이와 같은 광 디스크 플레이어로는, 레이저 광 디스크 플레이어(Laser Disk Player), 콤팩트 광 디스크 플레이어(Compact Disk Player)등이 있는 바, 이와 같은 광 디스크 플레이어중 특히 그 크기가 작고 휴대가 가능한 콤팩트 광 디스크 플레이어(이하 CDP라 약칭함)가 가장 보편적으로 널리 보급되어 있다.Such optical disc players include laser optical disc players, compact optical disc players, and the like. Among these optical disc players, compact optical disc players, which are small and portable, are particularly small in size. (Abbreviated as CDP) is the most common and widespread.
In other words, the CDP has been proposed as a separate player, ie, portable or combined with an audio system, or in recent years, has been proposed as an automobile CDP in accordance with the trend of luxury vehicles.
Looking at the structure of the optical disc D used in such an optical disc player, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, a center hole 1 is formed in the center plane, and the center hole 1 is formed. A clamping area 2 and a read-out surface 3 are sequentially formed toward the outer circumferential surface at the center thereof, and are usually formed of the same material.
Looking at the more detailed material structure of such an optical disk, as shown in Figure 2, the adhesive layer 4 is formed in the center, and the recording layers 5, 6 are formed on both sides based on the adhesive layer 4, Dielectric layers 7 and 8 are formed on the outer surface of the recording layers 5 and 6 to protect the recording layers 5 and 6.
An optical disc having such a structure is normally clamped by the clamping device of the optical disc player, and recorded and reproduced by the optical pickup which is slid and conveyed in the radial direction of the optical disc.
3 shows a clamping device for clamping such an optical disk.
This is roughly divided into a spindle motor 10 having a rotating shaft 11 as a drive source, a turn table 20 and a clamper 30.
The turn table 20 is a portion on which the disk is seated, and has an annular flange 21 on which the disk D is mounted. The turn table 20 has a cylindrical upper and lower portion around the annular flange 21. The lower bosses 22 and 23 extend.
At this time, a groove having a predetermined depth is formed in the lower boss 23 and is pressed into the rotation shaft 11 of the spindle motor 10.
The clamper 30 is located above the turn table 20, and serves to prevent the disk from flowing during the rotation of the turn table 20.
To this end, although not shown in the clamper 30 and the turn table 20, a magnet and an iron piece for pressing and supporting the disk are selectively provided.
When the disk D is seated on the clamping device having such a configuration, the optical pickup (not shown) slides in the radial direction of the optical disk to perform recording and reproduction.
However, in the process of repeatedly clamping the disk D through such a clamping device, as shown in FIG. 1, a crack is generated in the clamping region 2 contacting the center hole 1 of the disk D. The problem is caused.
This problem is typically a state where the clamping region 2 has a very thin thickness and must be clamped with a strong force through the clamping device.
For this reason, minute cracks are generated on the clamping region 2 which is repeatedly subjected to a strong force, and gradually develops cracks when rotating at a high speed by the clamping device in the cracked state. This results in a fatal problem affecting the area 3, resulting in damage to the disc and damage to the recording.
This problem, namely, the cracking of the clamping area is caused by a user's mistake, etc., and in particular, it is more serious in recent years with the emergence of an optical disc player, which gradually requires high speed.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve such a conventional problem, and provides an optical disc protection structure of an optical disc player that can prevent damage to the disc even after prolonged use by reinforcing the strength of the clamping area of the disc. Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of an optical disc protection structure of an optical disc player according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
4 is a cross-sectional view showing an optical disk protection structure according to the present invention.
Hereinafter, a description will be given with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3.
First, referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, an optical disc D has a center hole 1 formed in a center surface thereof, and a clamping area 2 around the center hole 1 toward an outer circumferential surface thereof. ) And a read-out surface 3 are formed sequentially, and are usually molded of the same material.
Looking at the more detailed material structure of such an optical disk, as shown in Figure 2, the adhesive layer 4 is formed in the center, and the recording layers 5, 6 are formed on both sides based on the adhesive layer 4, Dielectric layers 7 and 8 are formed on the outer surfaces of the recording layers 5 and 6 to protect the recording layers 5 and 6.
On the other hand, the clamping region 2 of the optical disk D described above has substantially the characteristic elements of the present invention, and is provided with reinforcing means for increasing the rigidity of the clamping region 2. As shown in FIG. 4, the reinforcement layer 100 is coated to a predetermined height.
The reinforcement layer 100 uses a dielectric layer of the same material as the clamping region 2 described above.
However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and a general adhesive tape may be used to obtain strength reinforcing effects, and other rigid materials may be used, for example, adhesive materials or other dielectric layers having a very thin thickness.

Even if the region 2 is clamped with a strong force, cracks do not occur in the clamping region where the rigidity is reinforced.
Therefore, even the damage of the recording area 3 due to the development of the crack can be prevented in advance.
According to the optical disk protection structure for an optical disk player according to the present invention as described above, cracks that may occur when the disk is clamped with a strong force by the clamping device through reinforcing means provided on the clamping area constituting the disk. This can be prevented in advance.
Therefore, even when employed in a high speed disc player, no crack is generated, thereby improving the reliability of the disc and, moreover, the disc player.
