Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for displaying video data of a mobile communication terminal using a video device is provided to show the video data received from the transmission device via a wireless communication network. CONSTITUTION: After a user turns on the mobile communication terminal, a CPU keeps its standby state(1). The user presses an input key of the terminal in order to connect it to another video device, selects a menu function or connects an external conversion device to a GPIO of the terminal(2). The CPU checks the connection between the terminal and the video device via a UART(Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter) in order to exchange information with the video device(3). The CPU determines whether the connection therebetween is normal(4). If the connection therebetween is normal, the CPU starts to exchange the information with the video device via the GPIO and the UART(5).
