Abstract

PURPOSE: A device incorporated in a vehicle for recirculating exhaust gas is provided to control the opening and closing amount of an intake/exhaust valve for increasing a remaining time period of non-burnt gas in cylinders to re-burn the gas. CONSTITUTION: A device incorporated in a vehicle for recirculating exhaust gas includes a main shaft(16) mounted on an intake/exhaust valve(10) of an engine and having a slantly cut lower end, a slide element(18) mounted immediately beside an actuator(20) of which a shaft is operating by a signal of an electronic control unit(ECU;24) and contacting the slant cut surface of the main shaft, and a rod(28) fixed on a rear surface of the actuator for moving vertically in association with the rotation motion of a cam(26), wherein the actuator is filled with wax(22) to be expanded and retracted according to a current signal of the ECU.
