Abstract

PURPOSE: An integral light steel pallet is provided to increase secondary moment of inertia and section modulus, to maximize weight, and to produce a pallet with one steel sheet. CONSTITUTION: A conventional pallet has weak strength and a short life. A light steel pallet body consists of an upper plate(1), a groove part(2), and a leg part. The leg part has a groove for the strong structure of supporting. The end part of the pallet is rolled for protecting the end part of the pallet. A rivet or flat head screw is used to fasten the leg part inn the forming groove. The upper plate and a lower plate are pressed in zigzag. The strength of the pallet is increased. The pallet has the effect of preventing a slide, makes the pallet structure simple and strong, and saves logistics costs.
