Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for automatically selecting transmitter information in a mobile wireless terminal is provided to set up CLIP(Calling Identification Presentation) protocols corresponding to each nation, so that a user can conveniently use the wireless mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A controller enters into a test mode, and detects an incoming call. When the incoming call is detected, the controller selects one protocol of many CLIP(Calling Identification Presentation) protocols designated each nation, and detects whether CLIP data is received. If not, the controller converts the one protocol into a CLIP protocol corresponding to an other nation, and detects whether the CLIP data is received. If so, the controller sets up the selected CLIP protocol.
