PURPOSE: A method for receiving radio broadcasts in a mobile wireless terminal is provided to generate a PN(Pseudo Noise) code for receiving a selected radio broadcast when a user selects a radio receiving mode to select a necessary broadcast channel, so as to listen to the radio broadcast without equipping a specific radio receiver. CONSTITUTION: A controller checks whether a radio mode selecting key is inputted from a key input(S301). If so, the controller outputs a PN(Pseudo Noise) code control signal for a shared spread corresponding to a current selected channel to a PN code generator(S302). The controller checks whether a channel selecting key of a corresponding broadcast is inputted from the key input(S303). If so, the controller outputs a PN code control signal for a shared spread corresponding to the inputted broadcast channel selecting key to the PN code generator(S304). The PN code generator generates a PN code corresponding to the selected channel to apply the PN code to a reverse spread demodulator. A user can listen to selected radio broadcast(S305).
