Abstract

PURPOSE: An image monitoring system using internet is provided to store image signals from a video processing board as well as from external network such as a network image transmitter and view the stored images through an internet. CONSTITUTION: An image monitoring system using internet comprises a video processing board(2) and an image server(3). Images of a camera(1-a) are compressed and stored through the video processing board(2) or the image and audio signals of a USB camera(1-b) are input to be compressed by the compression function of the video processing board(2). Image data transferred in compressed state through a network image transmitter are stored in the server(3) and a user can be the image data with real time through a web site or dedicated program of the internet(5) , thereby searching past images.
