Abstract

PURPOSE: A gasket for a flange pipe is provided to prevent an outflow of fluid running through a flange pipe by being transformed according to inner pressure of the flange pipe. CONSTITUTION: A gasket's circumference is established with plural bolt holes(12) for a bolt(6) connecting a flange pipe(5) to penetrate. A core(14) of a metallic material underlies in the inner side of the gasket(2) to prevent a transformation of the gasket(2). The core(14) comprising a ring-shaped disc like the gasket forms plural bolt holes(13) around a skirt and produces the gasket burying the core(14) by injecting a material of rubber quality into the core(14). Plural folds of protrusions(16) sticking to the end portion of the flange pipe(5) with pressure are formed around the circumferences of the high and lower side of the gasket(2). The protrusions(16) are annularly protruded on the circumference of the gasket(2) to be concentric with the gasket(2). After the gasket(2) is fixed on a connection part of the flange pipe, the flange pipe(5) is tied with a bolt(6). The end side of the flange pipe(5) presses the front and rear sides of the gasket(2) so that the protrusions(16) formed on the front and rear sides are pressed and transformed and attached to the end portion of the flange pipe(5). Therefore, the flange pipe(5) is mutually and tightly connected.
