Abstract

PURPOSE: A device for preventing breakage and noise of pipe line by using absorption performance of non-elastic mass is provided to considerably reduce the numbers of assembly parts and, thus, lower manufacturing cost, not to require further repair and maintenance, and to improve impact absorption in a pipe line. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing breakage and noise of pipe line by using absorption performance of non-elastic mass, more specifically, for protecting a pipe line(P) from the rapid water hammering energy of fluid, comprises a housing(20) for non-elastic mass having an accommodating chamber(22) for non-elastic mass connected to the pipe line(P) and fluidly connected in a direction the pipe line(P). The inner wall of the housing(20) for non-elastic mass is provided with a non-elastic mass(30) having a water hammer contact surface(32) in a wave form on its inner peripheral surface.
