Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a time setting method of an electronic device, and more particularly, to a time setting method by analyzing an image signal for setting a time of a clock by analyzing time data from a clock-shaped signal input through a camera.
In general, to set the time of a watch attached to a camcorder, which is one of electronic devices, steps as shown in FIG.
이와 같이 시,분,초를 설정한 후에는 시계 설정 종료 키를 입력하여 설정된 시간을 현재 시간으로 대체하여 시계를 설정하였다(단계105).That is, the user must first input a clock setting key command to set the clock (step 101). Then, the mode is changed to the time setting mode, and the time is set by entering the time increasing or decreasing key (step 102) .After completing the time setting, the mode is changed to the minute setting mode and the minute setting is made by entering the minute increasing or decreasing key. (Step 103) After the minute setting is completed, the mode is switched to the second setting mode, and the second is set by inputting the second increment or decrement key (step 104). After setting the hour, minute and second in this manner, the clock was set by replacing the set time with the current time by inputting the clock setting end key (step 105).
As described above, according to the related art, in order to set the clock of the camcorder, there is a problem in operation that the time of the clock can be set only by performing a complicated key input operation using key input means.

Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The present invention will be described in each step with reference to the flowchart of FIG. 2.
In step 201, it is determined whether a clock setting key command is input. This is to prevent changing the setting value of the clock whenever the clock-shaped image is input through the camera, and to execute the setting by time analysis only when the user wants to set the clock time.
In step 202, time is analyzed from a signal of a clock image input through a camera.
The time analysis step of step 202 may be executed by the flowchart of FIG. 3, which will be described below.
In step 301, a closed loop is searched for from a signal of an input clock image to be read as a clock frame.
In step 302, the center point in the clock frame read in step 301 is analyzed.
In step 303, it is determined from the center point of the clock read in step 302 whether there is a video signal of a bar representing the hour, minute, and the like of the clock. On the basis of this, when there is a video signal of a bar, it means an analog clock as shown in FIGS. 4 (a) and 4 (b). Otherwise, a number as shown in FIG. 4 (c) is displayed. Means digital clock.
In step 304, in the case of the analog clock as a result of the determination in step 303, the angles of the hour, minute and second bars are calculated. That is, the shortest bar among the detected bars means time, and the next short bar means minutes. In addition, when three bars exist, the largest bar means seconds, and thus, angles of hours, minutes, and seconds are calculated by comparing the sizes of bars detected in a clock image. Here, the angle of the bar is calculated based on 12 o'clock. 12 o'clock may vary from watch to watch, but a characteristic shape representing 12 o'clock of a commercially available watch is stored in the memory. Then, after reading the position of 12 o'clock in the input clock image, the angles of the hour, minute and second bars are calculated.
In step 305, time data corresponding to the angle of the clock hand calculated in step 304 is generated.
In step 306, in the case of the digital clock displayed as a number as a result of the determination in step 303, an image of the number within the clock frame of the input video signal is analyzed to read out the number.
In step 307, time data corresponding to the number read in step 306 is generated.
The time can be analyzed from the clock image signal input through the above steps 301 to 307.
As described above, the time of the clock attached to the electronic device may be set by correcting the current time to a time corresponding to the time data analyzed from the clock image by using the time data analyzed from the clock image signal.
As described above, according to the present invention, by setting the time of the clock by analyzing the time data from the input video signal of the clock, it is possible to set the time of the clock attached to the electronic device by simple operation without complicated key operation. It works.
