Abstract

PURPOSE: A tester is provided to accurately measure hydrogen and oxygen generated by water electrolysis by compensating pressure of a measuring pipe and a water supply pipe. CONSTITUTION: Pressure of an oxygen measuring pipe(32) and a hydrogen measuring pipe(22) are equalized when the pressure of pressure balancing pipes(12,14) connected to two measuring pipes are equalized. When there is a pressure difference, valves(21,31) are opened to balance the water level of two pressure balancing pipes by draining water. The inner pipe and the outer pipe of the two measuring pipes have the same water level so the inside of the measuring pipes and the pressure balance pipes are adjusted by an ambient pressure. Therefore, the hydrogen and the oxygen are accurately measured by a tester.

Description

Experimental Equipment to Measure Hydrogen and Oxygen Produced by Water Electrolysis}Experimental Equipment to Measure Hydrogen and Oxygen Produced by Water Electrolysis

The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring the amount of hydrogen and oxygen generated by decomposing water. Conventional technical patent publications 95-6028 (March 20, 1995) and Patent Publication No. 2000-0017834 (2000.4.6), and Japanese Patent Application No. 1990-035811 (September 28, 1990) only generate hydrogen and oxygen. It is not possible to measure the amount of gas generated.

It is characterized by accurately measuring the amount of hydrogen and oxygen generated by water decomposition by correcting the pressure of the water supply pipe and the generated hydrogen and oxygen measuring tube.

The number used in FIG. 1 is equally applied to the same part in FIG. 2.

Hereinafter, described in detail by the accompanying drawings as follows.

2 is a block diagram of an apparatus for measuring the amount of hydrogen and oxygen generated due to water decomposition. First, the electrolysis device 13 is filled with water by using the pipe 11 for opening the valves 24 and 34 to supply water, and the water level of the pressure balance pipes 12 and 14 is supplied to the water supply pipe 11. ), The pressure in the pipes (11), (12), (14) is brought to atmospheric pressure. The inner cylinder of the hydrogen measuring tube 22 and the inner cylinder of the oxygen measuring tube 32 are filled with water, and are equal to the height of each outer cylinder water. After the valves 24 and 34 are closed and the electricity is supplied to the electrolysis device 13, water is decomposed, oxygen passes through the pressure balance tube 12 to the oxygen measuring tube 32, and hydrogen passes through the pressure balancing tube ( 14) to the hydrogen measuring tube (22). Since the amount of hydrogen generated for a certain amount of water decomposition is twice as large as that of oxygen, more pressure is applied to the hydrogen measuring tube 22. Therefore, hydrogen entering the hydrogen measuring tube 22 is compressed, making it difficult to measure the amount. If the pressure of the oxygen balance tube 32 and the pressure balance tube 12 connected to the hydrogen balance tube 14 and the pressure balance tube 14 connected to the hydrogen measurement tube 22 are the same, the oxygen measurement tube 32 and the hydrogen measurement tube 22 The pressure is equal. Looking at the water level in the pressure balance pipes (12) and (14) to eliminate the pressure difference, open the valves (21) and (31) when the two volumes change, and the water level in the pressure balance pipes (12) and (14). Drain the water so that is the same. In addition, the water level of the inner tube of the hydrogen measuring tube 22 and the oxygen measuring tube 32 is equal to the water level of the outer tube so that the inside of the measuring tube and the pressure balance tube are adjusted to atmospheric pressure to accurately measure the amount of hydrogen and oxygen. have.

After the experiment is completed by removing the water by opening the water discharge valve (15) and pressure adjustment valves (21), (31) it can prevent the freezing.

The present invention can accurately measure the amount of hydrogen and oxygen generated by decomposing water by pressure correction. In this way, the efficiency of the electrolysis device can be known.
