Claims (7)
- 선정된 제한 길이를 갖는 코드를 제공하는 코더 (coder), 선정된 개수의 연속적인 트렐리스 전이 브랜치 (trellis transition branch), 또한 소정의 복호화 깊이를 이행하는 디코더 (decoder)를 이행하는 확산 스펙트럼 통신 시스템에서 콘볼루션 (convolution)적으로 코드화된 신호 입력을 인터리브 (interleave)하는 방법에 있어서:소정의 수의 연속적인 트렐리스 전이 브랜치에서 다수의 코드화 비트의 가능한 최소-분리 중 제1 최대치를 결정하는 단계;코드의 제한 길이와 연관된 연속적인 브랜치의 수에서 다수의 코드화 비트의 가능한 최소-분리 중 제2 최대치를 결정하는 단계;복호화 깊이와 연관된 브랜치의 수에서 다수의 코드화 비트의 가능한 최소-분리 중 제3 최대치를 결정하는 단계; 및그렇게 결정된 제1, 제2, 및 제3 최대치를 근거로 콘볼루션적으로 코드화된 신호 입력을 인터리브하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,연속적인 트렐리스 전이 브랜치의 소정의 수는 코드의 제한 길이 보다 적은 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,연속적인 트렐리스 전이 브랜치의 소정의 수는 코드의 제한 길이의 제곱근인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,확산 스펙트럼 통신 시스템은 IS-95A와 호환가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 확산 스펙트럼 통신 시스템에서 콘볼루션적으로 코드화된 신호 입력을 인터리브하고, 콘볼루션적으로 코드화된 신호 입력이 확산 스펙트럼 통신 시스템과 연관된 소정의 수의 비트 L로 구성되고, 그 소정의 수의 비트가 N개 칼럼 (column)과 M개 로우 (row)를 갖는 매트릭스로 인터리브되는 방법에 있어서:각 칼럼에 대해(a) 각 칼럼을 M/M1 블록으로 나누는 단계;(b) M/M1 블록의 제1 소자를 상단에서 하단까지 입력 코드 비트로 채우는 단계;(c) M/M1 블록의 제2 소자를 상단에서 하단까지 채우는 단계;(d) M/M1 블록의 최종 소자가 채워질 때까지 계속되는 단계; 및다음 칼럼에 대해 (a) - (d) 단계를 반복하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,확산 스펙트럼 통신 시스템은 IS-95A와 호환가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,다음 칼럼에 대해 (a) - (d) 단계를 반복하는 단계는:(e) N 칼럼을 N/N1 블록으로 나누는 단계;(f) 좌측에서 우측으로 상기의 (a) - (d) 단계를 반복함으로서, 칼럼별로, N/N1 블록 각각의 제1 칼럼을 채우는 단계;(g) 좌측에서 우측으로 상기의 (a) - (d) 단계를 반복함으로서, 칼럼별로, N/N1 블록 각각의 제2 칼럼을 채우는 단계; 및모든 칼럼이 채워질 때까지 N/N1 블록 각각의 연속적인 칼럼에 대해 (f) - (g) 단계를 반복하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
