Abstract

PURPOSE: A stabilizer for fluorescent lamps is provided to enable luminance adjustment by using an electric power amplifier unit and a variable circuit unit. CONSTITUTION: Electric power is rectified in a power supplying unit to be supplied in DC electric power. An oscillation device(25) is supplied with the DC electric power from the power supplying unit to oscillate the same. A variable circuit(26) varies frequency of the oscillation device(25). A free amp circuit(27) outputs FET control signal. The electric power is output in an electric power amplifying circuit(28), signal converted in the variable circuit(26), resonated in a resonance circuit(29) and output to an output side(30), then discharge of lamp is performed. When voltage of the output side(30) is higher than that of the electric power supply, the electric current corresponding to the exceeding voltage is bypassed and used in the power supply again.
