Abstract

PURPOSE: A rotor of a start generator is provided to reduce the vortex flow and the wedge current and improve the efficiency of a rotor by installing a lamination for the generator in a shaft of the rotor which accomplishing the driving force of the start generator and installing a magnet for generating a magnetic force on the outer periphery of the rotor. CONSTITUTION: A field section(2) is provided on the inner peripheral surface of a housing(1). A field coil is wound on the field section(2). A rotor(3) is installed on the inner side of the center of the housing(1). The rotor(3) supports a shaft(4) by using a bearing(5). A lamination(6) is installed on the outer periphery of the shaft(4) of the rotor(3). A magnet(7) is installed on the outer periphery of the lamination(6).
