CONSTITUTION: An automatic dim adjusting circuit comprises a photo coupler(PH) which is connected between a power supply voltage(VCC) and a ground voltage and receive a lumination sense signal from a photo sensor to output a signal according to the amount of light. An output resistor(RL) is connected between an output terminal of the photo coupler(PH) and the ground voltage. A pulse width modulation circuit(112) receives an output value(V1) of the photo coupler(PH), and compares the output value(V1) with a waveform from an oscillation circuit(111) as a reference value(REF) to output a sine wave(V2).
