Abstract

PURPOSE: A flat type vibration motor is provided to has an improved structure adapted for a high speed motor with the reduced number of coils by connecting commutator pieces in parallel with coils. CONSTITUTION: A pair of brushes(50, 60) are electrically contacted with commutator pieces(41, 42, 43, 44). The brushes(50, 60) are constituted with a first brush(50) and a second brush(60). The first brush(50) is contacted with one of the first commutator pieces(41, 42) and one of the second commutator pieces(43, 44) at the same time. A second brush(60) is contacted with the other of the first commutator pieces(41, 42) and the other of the second commutator pieces(43, 44). A structure having four contacts is employed by improving the commutator pieces(41, 42, 43, 44) and the brushes(50, 60).
