Abstract

PURPOSE: A clamp of a deflection yoke is provided to prevent the damage or the crack of a neck part due to the concentration of pressure during installing the deflection yoke in a neck part of a cathode ray tube. CONSTITUTION: To prevent the damage or the crack of a neck part, an area contacting with a yoke part(20) of a deflection yoke is reduced by forming a number of embossing-processed rugged part(22c) in a body(22a) adjacent to a plurality of prolonged part(22b) in a band part(22) of a clamp(14). Thus, the pressure generated by being transferred to the neck part of the cathode ray tube through the clamp is dispersed and thus the damage or the crack due to the pressure can be reduced.
