Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for removing an AC offset of a transmission line is provided to perfectively remove the magnitude and the phase of a basic wave by removing an AC current from the breakdown signal to leave a harmonic wave only. CONSTITUTION: In a breakdown signal which comprises an AC current and a harmonic wave, the harmonic wave is gradually removed to leave the AC current only. The initial value(A) and the damping ratio(X) are calculated from the AC current. The AC offset component which is calculated from the initial value(A) and the damping rate(X) is removed in the breakdown signal.
