Abstract

PURPOSE: A rotatable folder type cellular phone is provided to offer a user convenience in the use of the cellular phone, by improving the method for opening and closing the folder, such that it can be opened and closed toward either side direction of the cellular phone rather than length direction thereof. CONSTITUTION: A cellular phone of the rotatable folder type includes a crystal liquid display screen(1), speaker(2), rotatable screw(3), antenna(4), locking device(5), dial pad(6) and microphone(7). A stopping device is installed at the rotatable screw(3), so that the opening and closing angles of the folder can be kept below 180 degrees when the folder is opened and closed toward either side direction of the cellular phone. The microphone(7) is installed at the antenna(4), so that a phone call is possible in the closed state of the cellular phone. The length of the antenna(4) can be varied in order to reduce the distance between the microphone(7) and a user's mouth when a standby state of the cellular phone is changed to a phone call state. The microphone(7) can be installed at a body of the cellular phone.
